Swaythling Councillors stand firm in supporting the people Tue 21st Aug 2007 "As ward councillors for Swaythling we are both proud of the work we have done for the people of Swaythling over many years. "Great" move new Tory Cabinet! Wed 4th Jul 2007 "At a stroke you have snubbed our two universities, our colleges, and our major employers, not to mention the schools themselves. By appointing an out-of-town 'we are friends with important people in London' organisation to run our two new secondary schools the Tories have said they trust these people more than their fellow citizens and partner organisations in the city," commented Bassett Councillor Liz Mizon on the school decision.
